You’ll traverse the Kurt Shafer Bridge to cross the Mubuku River, and along the way, you’ll enjoy stunning views of Mount Stanley and Mount Speke. The day ends at John Matte Hut, where you’ll rest and recharge for the next day’s trek.

On the third day, you’ll trek from John Matte Hut to Bujuku Hut. This challenging but rewarding day takes you through the boggy Bigo Bog and the scenic Bujuku Valley. As you navigate the terrain, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding landscapes.

The fourth day of the trek takes you from Bujuku Hut to Elena Hut, the base camp for the Margherita Peak. The trek becomes more challenging as you navigate rocky paths and glaciers, but the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes make the journey worthwhile.
